AEGIS ORIGIN Protocol 973

Agentic Environment for General Infrastructure Security

AEGIS

THE SPARK

What is AEGIS

AEGIS started with a simple frustration. Taking Antisyphon courses, Orukami kept meeting brilliant security tools — but every one was its own island: a separate app, a website, an API pull, a script, a standalone task. Powerful, and completely scattered. The same question kept surfacing: why doesn’t anyone just put them all in one place and build a super dashboard? AEGIS is the answer to that question.

So AEGIS folds the most trusted open-source security tools into one shield — each a sibling reporting to a single dashboard, deployed for defense. The idea is simple: take proven open-source projects and bring them together under open-source local agentic models anyone can run, so real network security becomes something you can deploy at home, at an affordable price — instead of an enterprise-only budget line.

It is not a toy lab; it is the real tools, wired together, so anyone can stand it up, watch their own network, and learn by defending it — with the agentic layer explaining the “why” as it goes. Education and accessibility, built in.

IN DEVELOPMENT

Where it’s going

AEGIS is still a prototype, actively in development — and this is only the start. The north star: a heavily customizable dashboard where any open-source security project can be plugged in. Already taking shape:

Voice

Talk to the model

Voice conversation with the AI — hands-free triage and response.

Comms

Encrypted notify + mail

Built-in encrypted notification and mail services for alerts and response — no third party.

Agents

Multi-agent analytics

Agents collaborating to turn raw telemetry into feeds that make sense to anyone.

Engine

Pattern recognition

A pattern + telemetry recognition engine that surfaces what matters in the noise.

MCP

MCP navigation

Native support for navigating MCP servers — plug agentic context sources straight in.

Network

VPN + firewall control

VPN tunneling and automated firewall triggers — respond, not just watch.

Interop

Security Onion

Planned interoperability with Security Onion products.

Everything

Plug anything in

The vision: every open-source security project, pluggable into one heavily customizable console.

⬡ ORUKAMI

The maker

Built by Digital Orukami — a non-traditional student pursuing a Master’s in Cybersecurity. He enjoys CTFs (and prefers SkillBit over Hack The Box), highly recommends Antisyphon, and runs a small cybersecurity club — ECHO Club — in Colorado.

Origami: give anyone paper and imagination and they’ll create something. Digital Orukami is that idea in the digital world — making technology accessible in simple ways that leave a lasting impact. He believes security and Artificial Intelligence (AI) should be accessible to all; all his work demonstrates inclusion and accessibility — a digital piece of paper. AEGIS is that belief, folded into one shield. For the people.
